Gemcon Cup Golf Tournament begins in Rangpur

The ninth three-day “Gemcon Cup Golf Tournament-2020” kicked off on the Rangpur Golf and Country Club (RGCC) ground last morning. The Gemcon Group has been sponsoring the tournament being organised by RGCC on its ground located on the Ghaghot river bank in the outskirts of the city, said a press release. Rangpur Area Commander, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of66 Infantry Division and President of RGCC Major General Md. Nazrul Islam, ndu, afwc, psc, g, inaugurated the tournament through taking TEE-OFF shot as the chief guest. Chief Executive Officer of Gemcon Group Lieutenant Colonel (Retd) Abdul Monayem, RGCC officials, participants in the tournament and other invited guests were present.
