Papiya arrested on PM’s order: Quader

Awami League (AL) General Gecretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Tuesday said that Jubo Mohila League leader Shamima Nur Papiya was arrested as per the instruction of the party Chief Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The Prime Minister came to know about Papiya’s controversial activities. Then she asked the aw enforcers to arrest Papiya and bring her under trial, Quader told the reporters after attending a programme at Setu Bhaban in the city’s Mohakhali on Tuesday morning.
Quader said BNP could not create any example by arresting their leaders, who committed crimes, when they were in power, but Sheikh Hasina has presented her honest courage to arrest dishonest leaders.
No one will be spared if he or she commits crime, the minister said.
