Fire at Keraniganj factory
7 workers admitted to DMCH

At least seven workers of a steel mill factory sustained burn injuries when melted iron fell on them in the city’s Kadomtali area under Keraniganj on early Sunday.
The incident took place around 4am.
The burn victims were identified as Russel, 32, Redwan, 25, Sifat, 28, Sohag, 26, Babar, 35, Dulal, 30 and Sujon, 27. All were the workers of a local Kamal Steel Mills in Keraniganj.
Later they were rushed to the burn unit of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Abdul Gaffar Khan, Assistant in-charge of DMCH police outpost, confirmed the matter to the media.
