MoU signed between DU & Leeds Varsity

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dhaka University (DU) and Leeds University of the United Kingdom (UK) was signed on Wednesday at a simple ceremony held at the Vice-Chancellor’s (VC’s) office of the university.Roger Gair, university Secretary of the Leeds University and Treasurer of DU Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
VC Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies Prof Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam and Registrar of the university Syed Rezaur Rahman were present, among others, on this occasion. The main purpose of this MoU is to develop academic and educational cooperation and to promote relations and mutual understanding between Dhaka University and Leeds University of UK.
Besides, academic exchange, joint research, exchange of teachers and students are the prime objectives of this MoU.
Both organisations hoped the MoU will play an active role in accelerating academic and research collaborations for higher education.
