BTCL converts 8000 numbers to 8-digit in Gulshan exchange

Bangladesh Telecommuni-cations Company Limited (BTCL) is going to convert 8000 telephone numbers under Gulshan Exchange to 8-digit number aimed at providing modern and quality services.All numbers starting digit “881” (Numbers starting from 881-0000 to 881-7999 will be changed to 5 881-0000 to 5 881-7999) will be replaced by new 8-digit number from September 14 gradually, said a BTCL press release on Tuesday. It said “5” will be added before all previous numbers.
