Actor Khalil’s 5th death anniv today

Today is the fifth death anniversary of legendary actor Khalilullah Khan. He died on December 7 in 2014. Second son of the actor Musa Khan informed that after Asr prayer a milad mahfil will be held at his father’s residence in the city’s Mohammadpur area’s Noorjahan Road today. A feast will be also arranged for the destitute people in this regard.
President of Bangladesh Film Actors Association Misha Sawdagar said, “Khalil Bhai was a legendary actor of our film industry. He gave direction to the industry. We follow his direction. On behalf of the Film Actors Association a doa mahfil will be organized today.”
Khalilullah Khan got the National Film Award in category of Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. He acted in 800 movies. For acting in late Alamgir Kumkum-directed movie Gunda he first got the National Film Award.
His acted first movie was Sonar Kajol, directed by Kalim Sharafi and Zahir Raihan. Sumita Devi and Sultana Zaman acted against him in this film. As a hero, he mostly shared the screen with Shabnam.
