OIC team meets UGC Chairman

A-two member OIC delegation called on UGC Chairman Professor Dr. A K Azad Chowdhury at the latter’s office on Tuesday. Members of the delegation included Fahad Dakkan, Director General of Administration and Finance and Dr. Razley bin Mohd Nordin, Consultant of Science and Technology of the OIC.
Quality improvement in higher education, Accreditation Council and raising the status of IUT (Islamic University of Technology) to a centre of excellence came up for the discussion.
They also discussed accreditation and ranking systems of higher education of OIC countries.
UGC Chairman said IUT is imparting quality education specially ICT education to the students.
UGC Members – Professor Dr. Atful Hye Shibly, Professor Dr. Mohammad Mohabbat Khan, Professor Dr. Abul Hashem, Professor Dr. Md. Akhtar Hossain and UGC Secretary Dr. Md. Khaled were present on the occasion.
