CU students demanded to ensure proper residential seats

Residential students of Chittagong University (CU) took part in a movement against the administration of the university demanding to ensure allotted seat to them who got seats according to their merits.
Around 100 students of different hall assembled in front of the administrative building around 1 pm on Wednesday.
Protesters claimed that residential students have repeatedly requested to the acting Vice Chancellor who is in charge of administration, proctorial body that the residential students of different halls including Suhrawardy, Alaol and AF Rahman hall of the University have been deprived from their allotted seats for long time. But they did not take any initiative for those students. So, we are finally forced to go to the movement.
A section of the BCL leaders and activists also joined with the protesters in front of the university administrative building.
Contracted, CU acting proctor PronabMitra said “They have given a list, we are checking it. We will take action if anyone deprives residential student.”
