Horrendous defeat

The Bangladesh National Cricket team suffered a horrendous series defeat in the away one-day international cricket by 0-3 matches in the Caribbean islands that ended on Monday. Though the new talents of the islands are showing more interest in soccer and basketball apart from athletics, the remains are stronger enough to teach Bangladesh cricket lesson.
Our team lost the first match by three wickets in Granada although the nation sighted victory at one stage. But the visitors lost the second match disgracefully by a huge margin of 177 runs and the last one by 91 runs, which gives an indication that Bangladesh team’s future prospect as a cricket playing nation seems gray.
What the cricket board should do in order to improve the situation is that the officials must talk less and free the game from politics. Secondly, the team captain and the other players must talk less and accept the reality. Even after shameful loss to the hosts in the second match, neither the team management nor the players appeared alert about their doings to salvage some sort of prestige, and not pride because we have nothing to pride.
We have seen the players from Australia, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka to forget laugh on the pitch when defeat is at sight. There can be no celebration for scoring four runs or taking a wicket as a single case. In truth, the frustration that began in February in the Asian Cup Cricket still continues and who knows how long?
