Husband kills wife over family fued

A man allegedly beat his wife to death over family feud in Dhaka’s Bangla Motor area on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Sabina Akhter, 32, mother of two children.
Relative sources said that there were family feud between husband and wife on various issues. At one stage of quarrel between them, husband Masud Kazi beat his wife Sabina, leaving her dead on the spot.
Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Hatirjhil Police Station, told the media that the couple along with two
children lived at a rented house adjacent to the water pump in Bangla Motor area.
Police also arrested Masud Kazi following the murder in this connection.
Detectives are investigating the incident and the process of sending the body to the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy is underway, OC said.
