Dithi busy with hosting besides music

Besides rendering song, daughter of noted lyricist, film producer, director and storywriter Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Dithi Anwar is engaged with programme hosting. Specially she was seen presenting different shows in TV channels in last Eid. She hosted Desh TV’s six-day programme Sur Aar Gaan in Eid. She also hosted three days at a time on News24 channel. She also rendered a song on SA TV.
Overall after returning from USA she became busy with her works on the occasion of Eid. Recently she completed recording of RTV’s special musical show Ei Raat Tomar. She will be seen to present the show. For the last few years, she has been regularly hosting TV shows. She is also hosting regularly Channel i’s popular music related show, Palki.
While talking about programme hosting Dithi Anwar told this correspondent, “In fact, it is true that if any singer hosts any music related show then it will obviously become a nice programme because the participant singer can easily communicate with the host regarding their related field. Therefore, sharing of information with each also becomes informative and comfortable which will enrich a singer’s future life in the field of music. I can say that I have informed many things about music as a host which will not be possible if I only perform as a singer.”
Dithi also informed that she has finished work of her father-written song titled Devdas. Ahmed Kislu has composed its music. On the other hand, Dithi has also finished recording of two songs with Ahmed Yousuf Khan and Apu.
Within this year music videos of these two songs will be released. In her long time career, she arranged solo performance for single time which was held in 2017, she added.
