Cabinet probing Jamalpur DC’s scandal
UNB, Dhaka :
The Cabinet is investigating a surveillance camera video showing Jamalpur’s Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Kabir in a compromising situation with a female office assistant.
Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam told UNB on Saturday that they are aware of the matter.
“We’re looking into it,” he said. “It’ll be resolved within a day or two.”
Additional Secretary Gaffar Khan told UNB that they had launched a primary investigation and examining the video that has gone viral. “Various agencies are probing the incident. An investigation committee will be formed on Sunday,” Khan said.
