BD football team starts practice from Aug 26

Bangladesh National Football team will start their practice from August 26 marking the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers 2022. Bangladesh, India, Oman, Afghanistan and Qatar are in Group-E.
Bangladesh will face Afghanistan in their first match on September 10.
After passing holidays, Head Coach of Bangladesh National Football team Jamie Day will return Bangladesh from England on August 19.

Jamie Day said to the Reporters, ” Before Afghanistan encounter, it will be better for our team to take part in the practice for two weeks. I am hoping that there will be no lacking of fitness of my boys.”
He said, ” The booters, who performed well in the outgoing Bangladesh Premier League, will get chance in the National Football team. Those who were side benches during the League, will not get chance in the Team. Two or three newcomers will get chance.”
He also said, ‘The venue of the match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan is yet to be
finalised. We shall start our practice in Dhaka regarding the match against Afghanistan. After the practice sessions, we shall go to Qatar to take part in the practice camp. Besides, we shall play some warm-up matches there.”
