Iranian visiting professor calls on DU VC

Iranian visiting Professor of the Department of Persian Language and Literature of DU Dr. Nematollah Iranzadeh made a farewell call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique on Wednesday at the latter’s office of the university.
Chairman of the Department of Persian Language & Literature of DU Prof. Dr. Tarique Ziaur Rahman Sirazi and Assistant Professor Md. Mumit Al Rashid were present on the occasion.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially possibilities of strengthening ongoing collaborative academic and research programs on “Persian Language and Literature” jointly being conducted by the University of Dhaka and Universities in Iran.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique thanked the outgoing visiting Professor for his great contribution of DU Persian Language & Literature Department and keen interest in academic activities of the University.
