JS body of Ethnic Community Affairs visits rape victim

Convener of the Parliamentary Committee of the Ethnic Community Affairs Fazley Hossain Badsha MP said, those who were involved in the attack on and rape of the adibasi leader would be brought under law. If anybody tries to save the criminals, he would fall in danger, he added. He further added that the indigenous people are the citizen of the country and they played great role in the liberation war and so they cannot be evicted from their lands.
He said this while visiting the rape victim adibasi leader at Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital on Friday afternoon.
Besides, AKM Fazlul Hoque MP, Kazi Rosy MP, Jannat-e-Ferdousi and other members of the technical committee, deputy commissioner of Chapainawabganj Mohammad Jahangir Kabir, police super Bashir Ahmed, civil suegeon Dr. AKM Mozahar Hossain, President of Jatyo Adibasi Parishad Rabindranath Saren and organizing secretary of the same Bimol Chandra Razoar were among the visitors.
They met the rape victim who has been undergoing treatment at the hospital, heard about the incident and about her condition. Later they gave a press briefing to the journalists gathered there.
