Razi Ali-Zahid Hasan under Shamim Zaman’s direction

Entertainment Report: In the TV play arena, as director-playwright pair, Shamim Zaman and Zakir Hossain Ujjal has already become a popular to all. This popular pair’s Eid telefilm titled Chherapaal was highly appreciated to most of the viewers due to its making and story. Shamim Zaman again gave direction of a play titled Hiyar Majhey Lukiye Chhiley under the script written by Zakir Hossain Ujjal. After a break of two years, promising model cum actress Razi Ali has returned to acting arena by this play. She was not regular in acting arena now because she has been studying on Hair Dressing & Beauty in TAFE in Sydney, Australia. After returning to Bangladesh she got the opportunity to act against Zahid Hasan and agreed to work with him in this play. Director Shamim Zaman also acted in the play. Now shooting of the play is going on at Hotapara in Gazipur. Shamim Zaman’s own production house, Sharat Telefilm is producing the play.While talking about the play Zahid Hasan told this correspondent, “As a model, Razi is fine. As an actress, she is also good. If she continues acting regularly Razi had the opportunity to become first class actress.”Razi shared her feelings by this way, “It is really fortunate for me that I got the opportunity to act against leading actor like Zahid Hasan. I am also grateful to him and also to Shamim bhai who is cooperating me well while acting in the play.”“In fact, I had really need of an expatriate model cum actress in my play. For this reason, I have taken her in the play. The play will go on air on SA TV on Eid-ul-Azha,” said Shamim Zaman. It may be mentioned that Razi Ali got ‘Most Popular Award’ in You Got The Look contest in 2006. Her first TV commercial was Sohag Paribahan, which was directed by Amitabh Reza. Razi’s first acted drama was Monir Hossain’s Dui Digun-e Char. Razi will again go to Australia on August 16, she said.
