Mayor asks heads of corporation to submit progress report on dev works within 3 days

Chittagong City Mayor of Chittagong M Manzoor Alam urged upon the departmental heads and responsible officials in 41 city wards under the city corporation to submit the progress report of development work including construction, repair, renovations of rods, bridge and culverts, drains in the city by next 3 days.
Along with the progress report, a total picture of revenue collection, conservancy work in roads and drains, lifting earth and removal of wastes should included, he added.
City Mayor also ordered to comply the office discipline and time schedule in head office, regional offices, ward offices, maternity hospitals, primary health service centres, Midwifery Institute, Health Technology Institute, computer institutes, educational institutions , run by CCC and doctors , nurses, teachers and all officials irrespective of cadre and status. He also warned that any violence of the order will be dealt with serisously.
He said the CCC is accountable to city dwellers and everyone should discharge their duties and responsibilities with honest and sincerity .
City Mayor disclosed it while addressing the departmental heads and responsible officers of the CCC at a emergency meeting held Sunday last at CCC conference hall. All departmental heads including Chief Executive Officer Ali Ahmed, Secretry Rashid Ahmed, Private secretary to Mayor, Chief Education Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, chief conservancy officer,, law officer and related officials were present in it.
