Rethinking about Flight security

A series of air accidents killing all passengers, pilot and crews on board in 2014 has caused our anxiety and trepidation. Passenger plane shot downed over the battle field of eastern Ukraine is really a great human tragedy. At times the disappearance of Malaysian flight was shrouded in a great mystery that continued to be difficult to unearth.
A focus of the search shifted to the southern part of the, west of Australia. In the first two weeks of April, aircraft and ships deployed equipment to listen signals from the “black boxes” attached to the aircraft’s. Four unconfirmed signals were detected between 6 and 8 April near the time the beacons’ batteries were likely to have been exhausted. A robotic submarine searched the seabed near the detected pings until 28 May, with no debris being found. After an analysis of possible flight paths is conducted, the search will resume in August 2014, at a new, 60,000 km2 (23,000 sq mi) search area, approximately 2,000 km (1,200 mi) west of Perth, Australia. The underwater search of this area is expected to last up to 12 months at a cost of A$60 million (approximately US$56 million or €41 million).
There has been no confirmation of any flight debris, and no crash site has been found, resulting in many unofficial theories about its disappearance. The only evidence of the flight path after disappearing from military radar over the Andaman Sea is communications between the aircraft and a satellite over the Indian Ocean. Analysis of these communications by multiple agencies has concluded that the flight ended in the southern Indian Ocean. On 24 March, the Malaysian government, noting that the final location determined by the satellite communication was far from any possible landing sites, concluded that “flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean.”
At the time of its disappearance, and if the presumption of a loss of all lives aboard can be verified, Flight 370 would have been the deadliest aviation incident in the history of Malaysia Airlines and also the deadliest involving a Boeing 777. Flight 370 was surpassed in both regards just 131 days later by Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (wwwwikipedia.org.)
And the Taiwan plane crash carrying 51 passengers on board was another air disaster. 51 passengers were killed emergency landing of trans-Asia air lines plane.
True the incidence of plane crash is few and far between. Lakhs of aero planes are being operated by civil aviation all over the world, but plane crash, if occurred, received wide media coverage.
There are numerous reports about road accidents, boat and launch capsizes and a few about train derailment. For this reason we think that journey by plane is safe. Thing is that bus accidents or accidents other than plane crash may take heavy toll of lives. But many survive. Of course, some sustain serious injury becoming physically handicapped. In the event of flight accident human casualties hit news headline. If any passenger could escape death it becomes a great surprise.
Air accident may take place any time. This may be caused by bad weather and mechanical trouble. Nevertheless any attempt at shooting down passenger plane or intentionally directing the course of the moving air to make it meet accident without caring for the ground control system is definitely a heinous act.
However, Ukraine accident was an eye opener. Air lines have already made decisions about whether or not to fly over hostile territory. Ukraine claimed that Russian rebels were responsible for the air disaster. On the other hand Russian rebels pointed fingers at Ukraine military for shooting down the plane.
The impact of man-made air disaster is demoralizing. I have come to know that terrorist act aiming at the flying ship on the sky has left many in panic. Immediately after such mishappenings many cancelled tickets. It may encourage the militant to take recourse to such evil tack ties despite the fact that there is no incidence of hijacking of air ship by the terrorists.
Whatever abnormal has been happening should not be allowed to happen once again. We want safe air journey. In fact the affluent and elites frequently travel by air. Some among them are talented and cream of the country and golden sons of the soil.
