Kid drowns in pond

A toddler drowned in a pond at Enayetpur village in Hathazari upazila of Chattogram district yesterday morning.
Deceased Sourav Shil, 2, was the son of Chandan Shil, a resident of the village.
Local people rescued the boy in an unconscious state from the pond and took to Hathazari Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared it dead.
