The Popular Life Insurance Inter-District Volleyball Competition begins today at Shaheed Nur Hossain Volleyball Stadium.
To mark the ensuing volleyball meet, a press conference was held at the Dutch-Bangla Bank Auditorium in Bangladesh Olympic Association Bhaban on Sunday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Asiqur Rahman Miku, Chairperson of Women’s Volleyball Committee and SP of CID Syeda Jannat Ara, Senior Executive Director of Popular Life Insurance Company Limited Md Alamgir Feroz were present, among others.
Inspector General of Bangladesh Police Dr Mohammad Javed Patwari will inaugurate the volleyball competition today as the chief guest, while President of Bangladesh Volleyball Competition Md Atiqul Islam will be with him as the special guest. Syeda Jannat Ara will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
