Centurion Shadman Islam shared 200 runs with Saif Hassan in the opening stand partnership, which helped Walton Central Zone to score 249/3 in 90 overs, at stumps, after the first day’s play against BCB North Zone in the 4th round of the four-day Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra on Tuesday.

Left-handed pacer Shoriful got three wickets for 50 runs while Sunzamul Islam (1/68) sent off Raqibul Hasan with duck to be another wicket taker for the side, elected to bowl first after winning the toss.
