



The Korean Ambassador Cup Taekwondo Championship starts today at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council.
Korean Ambassador and Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation will jointly arrange the two-day long taekwondo meet.
Today State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, MP will open the competition as the chief guest while Ambassador of South Korea to Bangladesh Lee Yun Young will be present with him as the special guest.
A twenty-member team from South Korea will perform a colourful show during the inaugural ceremony.
A total of 450 participants from 22 teams will take part in the taekwondo championship.
Marking the ensuing meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of National Sports Council on Thursday.
President of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Kazi Morshed Kamal and General Secretary of the Federation Mahmudul Islam Rana were present at the conference, among others.
