Rocket named Tri-Nation Series title sponsor

Rocket, a mobile banking service of Dutch Bangla Bank, has been named the title sponsor of the upcoming Tri-Nation ODI series, starting on January 15 Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chief Executive Officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury announced the name at a press briefing at SBNCS media block on Sunday.
The host Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will play the double league basis seven-match day-night ODI series, which will end on January 27.
Bangladesh will meet Zimbabwe in the inaugural match on January 15, face Sri Lanka on January 19 and play Zimbabwe again on January 23 before taking on Sri Lanka on January 25. The top two teams of the league will play the final.
BCB media committee chairman Jalal Yunus, Impress-Matra Consortium managing director Faridur Reza Sagor and DBBL managing director Abul Kashem Md Shirin were present on this occasion.
This is the 2nd time DBBL got involved with Bangladesh cricket as sponsor after completing the first two years agreement, which ended in December 2017, with Impress-Matra Consortium the main right holders of Bangladesh cricket sponsorship.
