Fifth BPL:: Dhaka Dynamites face Sylhet Sixers in opener today

Defending champions Dhaka Dynamites will take on Sylhet Sixers in the opening match of the AKS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS) in Sylhet today. The match begins at 2.00 pm. In the day’s other match, Rajshahi Kings will face Rangpur Riders at 7.00 pm at the same venue. GTV and Maasranga TV will telecast the matches live from the arena.
A total of seven teams are taking part in the Twenty20 Cricket Tournament. They are: Reigning champions Dhaka Dynamites, Sylhet Sixers, Rajshahi Kings, Rangpur Riders, Khulna Titans, Chittagong Vikings and Comilla Victorians.
A number of eight matches will be held at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Then the next 16 clashes will be taken place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur. After that Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium of Chittagong will host the next ten matches.
Then rest of the matches including Eliminator, Qualifier-1, Qualifier-2 and the gala final will be held at SBNCS.
The Sylhet International Cricket Stadium is set to stage the ensuing eight matches of BPL.
