11 HSTU students to get Prime Minister Gold Medal

Eleven students of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) have been selected for Prime Minister Gold Medal of 2015 and 2016 session. This information has been published by a notice in the website of University Grants Commission (UGC) recently.UGC will honour the medal in recognition of the meritorious students.
Students selected for this medal under session 2015are Nazmin Akter (Agriculture department, 3.94); Md. Kamal Hossain (Computer Science and Engineering department, 3.85); Razia Sultana(Finance and Banking department, 3.88); Ireen Parvin(Fisaheries department, 3.92); Majbaul Alam(Food processing and Engineering department 3.86).
And of session 2016are-Sumya Akter (Computer Science and Engineering department, 3.88); Masuma Khan(Finance and Banking , 3.86); Md. Gausur Rahma(Veterinary and Animal Science department, 3.94); Anjumanara Ava(Fisaheries department, 3.86); Md. Sultan Mahmud(Engineeering department, 3.75); Seuli Sharmin(agriculture department, 3.95).
To encourage intellectual development UGC started this award in 2006.
