5th edition of BPL to begin November 3

Sylhet Sixers will take on defending champions Dhaka Dynamites in the opening of the 5th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League T20 tournament scheduled to begin from November 3rd at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, said the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) press release.
This season’s BPL will be played across three cities – Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. A total of 46 matches will be played, including the final which is scheduled to be held on December 12th at home of cricket Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur.
Earlier, Barisal Bulls were ruled out from this season as the franchise was unable to meet the financial terms set by the BPL governing council.
The players’ draft for the fifth edition of the BPL was held on September 16.
