CUET to open Independence Corner

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) is going to open a special zone named ‘Liberation War and Independence of Bangladesh Corner’ at its central library with a view to informing the young generation about the history of Bangladesh.
CUET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Alam will formally inaugurate the corner on Monday in observance of the National Mourning Day. The corner will have audio-visual information about the Liberation War, including 350 rare books, 20 photographs, 30 video documentaries and historical papers, a CUET press release said.
Besides, a 200-page photo album titled “Photographs on the Liberation War of Bangladesh” supplied by the Liberation War Museum will also be showcased there. The corner will remain open for visitors from 9am to 8pm without any intermission.
