Raozan aims to enter in Guinness Book !
4 . 5 lakh saplings of fruit bearing trees to be planted within one hour

Raozan Upazila , a model upazila of the North Chittagong aims at to enter the names of the upazila in Genes Book through mega tree plantation programmes scheduled to be implemented on July 25 next across the Upazila areas .
Our Raozan Correspondent said on that very day, more than 4 lakh 50 thousand saplings of fruit bearing will be planted within one hour from 11 am to 12 noon. To success this mega programs of tree plantation, publicity with different means are being carried by the Upazila and pourasava administration for the last two months in 14 union parishads and nine wards in poura areas.
Mentionable that local legislator and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry and of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP has taken initiatives of this mega programs from very beginning of the year. In this connection to make success of the program, a meeting of views exchange comprising the journalists, professionals, public representatives, school teachers, social elites was held at the conference hall of the UNO recently with UNO Shamim Hossain Reza in the chair.
The chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry and of Railway ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP graced the occasion as chief guest.
UNO in the meeting said upazila authority is trying to involve the people of Raozan irrespective of caste, creed and opnions to participate the programs spontaneously. The meeting was told that saplings are being stored in the grounds of Raozan high school in North Raozan and Noapara High school in south Raozan , sources said.
Local representatives and the AL leaders of the locality are receiv ing the saplings from the suppliers in respective storing place. Upazila Chairman of Raozan Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury Babul in the meeting told that on his personal initiatives of ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP , saplings of different species of fruit bearing , medicinal herbs , and quality forestry origin are being collected from different parts of the country .
Raozan UNO told that to record this mega tree plantation programs in Genes Book is under process and Forest and Agri Department are extending cooperation to success the plantation programs,Mentionable that during the last five years, 2.5 lakh saplings planted in this upazila with personal initiatives of ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP , sources said.
