Summer Games for persons with disabilities begins today

The Walton Summer Games for persons with disabilities begins today at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city’s Dhanmondi.
National Association of Sports for the Persons with Disabilities (NASPD) will organize the sports competition under auspices of Walton Group.
A total of 300 children from 15 teams will take part in the 18 events.
Chairman of ATN Bangla Limited Dr Mahfuzur Rahman will inaugurate today the two-day long sports competition.
Marking the sports meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Sunday. Secretary General of NASPD Dr Salina Akhter, Operative Director and Head of Sports & Welfare Department of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, AGM of Walton Group Mehrab Hossain Asif were present at the conference.
