Inter-District Women’s Athletics competition begins

The Lutfunnessa Hoque Bokul Inter-District Women’s Athletics competition began on Friday at Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city’s Dhanmondi, said a press release on Friday.
Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza formally inaugurated the two-day meet as the chief guest.
A total of 226 players from 47 districts across the country are taking part in the nine events of the meet.
Shirin Nayeem, member of the parliament, is expected to present on the closing ceremony as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.
