Inter University Badminton tournament begins today

The Click Inter University Badminton tournament begins today (Thursday) at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in the city, said Bangladesh Badminton Federation (BBF) press release.
LGRD Secretary and BBF President Abdul Malek is expected to formally inaugurate the three-day meet as the chief guest.
Alamma Morshed Monem, general manager and head of marketing of Pran RFL, will present as special guest.
A total of 125 shutters from 34 public and private universities so far confirmed their participation, sponsored by Pran RFL and organized by BBF.
The budget of the tournament has been estimated at Taka 5,20,500 to run the meet. In this regards, a press conference was held today at the conference room of Bangladesh Olympic Association to provide all the details of the meet.
BBF senior vice president Amir Hossain Bahar, Pran RFL Group brand manager Salahuddin Al Hossain, Click Pran RFL Group assistant brand manager Ahasan Mahmud and tournament referee SM Zahidul Haque Kochi, were among others, present on the occasion.
