Burnt child dies at CMCH

A child, badly burnt in a gas cylinder explosion on Saturday has died at the Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
The one-year-old girl ‘Oishee’ died during the wee hours of Sunday, said Dr Mrinal Kanti Das at the burn unit of the hospital.Oishee suffered 55 percent burns, he told . Around 7pm on Saturday, garment worker ‘Raju’, 24, and his daughter Oishee, sustained burns when a gas cylinder exploded at their house near the Naval Academy in Chittagong.
They were admitted to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital The cylinder exploded while cooking, said the hospital police outpost’s Nayek Md Jahid Hossain.
