Reasons for climate change

The Bengali month of Magh is still on, but the winter has almost disappeared at least at daytime from the city of Dhaka. It signals change of climate. Though we are aware of some of the reasons thereof, we are perhaps helpless to do anything except watching further adverse impact from a safe distance.

 In this connection, may we urge the government to visit Paksey, the largest Railway Divisional Headquarters, to have a glimpse of the wretched condition of the Padma far and near and under the Hardinge Bridge.
