A 2-day long 1st International Global Circle for Scientific, Technological and Management Research (GCSTMR) Congress concluded on Sunday at Business Education Faculty of Dhaka University (DU). 150 Research Abstract and Poster presented in the congress. Teachers and Young scientist of Bangladesh Open University, Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology Gazipur, Islamic University of Technology Gazipur, Business Studies Department of Dhaka University and Western Sydney University of Australia took part in the congress.
Earlier the inaugural congress was chaired by Prof Dr MA Mannan, Vice Chancellor, Bangladesh Open University on Saturday at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of DU. Prof Dr MA Mannan in his address said that sharing knowledge on scientific research now a days is very important.
The world today is now a global village. So, we should share our innovation for the development of society and mankind. He also added that BOU has taken step in establishing E-platform and Learning Management System for sharing knowledge, which is now functioning.
Prof Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor, VC IUT, Prof Dr Mohammed Alauddin, VC DUET, Dr Ataur Rahman Chairman, GCSTMR and Associate Professor, Western Sydney University, Australia and Prof Shibli Rubyat-Ul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business Studies DU, and Prof Dr MA Mazid DU spoke in the inaugural congress.
Three key Note Papers were presented in the opening day by Prof Dr Atiur Rahman, Department of Development Studies DU and Ex Governor Bangladesh Bank, Prof Dr Fidelis Mashiri, School of Engineering Western Sydney University of Australia and Prof Dr M Mozammel Hoq, Department of Microbiology of DU.
A total of 200 hundred Teachers, Researchers and Scientist took part in the two days congress.
