Bangladesh post exciting victory in Blind T20 WC
Bangladesh blind cricket team managed an exciting five runs victory over Australia in the Blind T20 World Cup held on Saturday at Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.
Batting first, Bangladesh, rode on a strong opening stand by Mohsin Hossain Joy (81) and Abdul Malek (78) scored a competitive total of 210 for 2 from their allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Australia were fell shot as they managed to score 201 for 5 from their stipulated 20 overs.
Opener Raymond Stephen was the highest scorer with 51 runs followed by Vaughan James (50) and David Jeffery (48).
Bangladesh will play their next match against England tomorrow (Sunday) at Mumbai Brabourne Stadium.
