‘Students to be pioneer to preserve national history’

Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique said that a group of people is trying to change the history of Liberation War. So, the students of Philosophy have to play the pioneering role to prevent it’.
The Vice-Chancellor said this on Thursday while addressing as chief guest at the fresher’s reception and graduation ceremony of the Department of Philosophy of the university at the Teachers-Students Centre (TSC) here.
Chairman of the Department of Philosophy Prof Latifa Begum presided over the function while Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad, Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Dean of the Faculty of Arts Prof Dr Sadrul Amin addressed as special guests. Prof Dr Nuruzzaman delivered welcome speech and Prof Dr Pradip Kumar Roy gave vote of thanks.
