Sylhet councillors, delegates join AL Council

A total of 204 councilors and 1300 delegates from Sylhet will join the 20th National Council of ruling Awami League. The councilors and delegates are being selected from Sylhet city and District Committees. The leaders of Sylhet Awami League said that all preparation has already been completed by Chittagong committees to join the councilors and delegates the 20th National Council of Awami League.
A total of 164 councilors and 1000 delegates from Sylhet District, 40 councilors and 300 delegates from Sylhet City committee will go to Dhaka for 20th National Council of ruling Awami League.
President of Sylhet City Committee of Awami League and former mayor of Sylhet Alhaj Bodor Uddin Ahmed Kamran said, “The ruling Awami League is leading the country in a crisis period. The leaders of Awami League are trying to overcome the national crisis under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina now.” He said, “We need to include our dedicate leaders and activists in our activities. Not only the outsider who are joining the party, but also the dedicated leaders and activists who are serving the party years after year should be evaluated to over come the national crisis.
