Man beaten to death in N’ganj
UNB, Narayanganj :
An elderly man was beaten up to death allegedly by members of a gang in Sadar upazila on Friday morning.
The victim was identified as Samsul Alam, 60, son of late Syed Ali of Delpara Nurbagh in the upazila.
Victim’s relatives said a gang of criminals belonging to ‘Hokka Bahini’, led by its chief Abdul Hoque, beat Samsul in the Nurbagh area at around 9 am over a previous feud, leaving him seriously injured.
He was taken to Narayanganj 300-bedded Hospital where doctors declared him death.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Fazlul Hoque of Fatulla Model Police Station said Samsul died due to the beating by Abdul Hoque and his accomplices.
