Motivated Bangladesh face Singapore today

Motivated Bangladesh under-16 women’s football team embark on a new mission to continue their winning run in the AFC under-16 Women’s Championship Qualifiers as they face Singapore in their second group C encounter scheduled to be held today (Monday) at the country’s premier venue Bangabandhu National Stadium.
The match kicks off at 6 pm.
In the day’s other two matches of the fixture at the same venue, Iran will play against Kyrgyzstan at 11 am while Chinese Taipei meet the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at 3 pm.
Earlier, on Saturday, Bangladesh got off to an auspicious start in the tournament as they blanked Iran by 3-0 goals in their opening group C match.
Besides, Chinese Taipei crushed Kyrgyzstan by 7-1 goals in their tournament opening match while the UAE and Singapore split points when their match ended in a 2-2 goal draw in another group C encounter of the first day’s fixture.
Bangladesh, which placed in group C along with Iran, Chinese Taipei, the UAE and Singapore, will play their group third match against Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday (August 31), face group fourth match against Chinese Taipei on September 3 and play their group last match against the UAE on September 5.
