Postponed HSC exam on June 8

The English second part examination of HSC under Dhaka Board that was postponed due to question paper leakage will be held on June 8. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid announced this at a press briefing at the secretariat on Thursday afternoon. In his speech, the minister said the persons who are involved in the paper leakage would get punishment. Earlier on Thursday morning, the Dhaka Education Board formed a high-powered probe committee to investigate the English second part’s question paper leakage. The committee, headed by Secretary of the education board Prof. Abdus Salam, has been asked to submit its report within 15 working days. The five-member committee also includes College Inspector Sreekanta Kumar Chandro, School Inspector Md. Shahidul Kabir Chowdhury, Senior System Analyst Md. Manzurul Kabir and Deputy Director Md Fazle Elahi (Accounting).
