Seminar on modern water management held at IIUC

A seminar on ‘Modern Water Management’ as arranged by the International Islamic University Chittagong held at its main campus at Kumira on Tuesday . Vice chancellor of IIUC Prof.Dr.AKM Azharul Islam graced the seminar as Chief Guest duly presided by Acting Pro-VC Prof.Dr.Md. Delwar Hossain in the chair.Noted specialist of water resources and professor of Washington University, USA Dr.Faisal Hossain presented the keynote paper on Modern Water Management before the seminar.
The keynote speaker Dr.Faisal Hossain emphasized the necessity of providing services to society and humanity through research . He said research on society and humanity is very much essential rather publishing more and more articles on the subject.
While presenting the keynote paper, Dr.Faisal said it is essential to adopt science based solutions of the global water problems as well as in Bangladesh.
Mentionable that Dr.Faisal is a teacher of Civil engineering deptt of Washington University, USA and he achieved PhD Degree from a American university in 2004. He obtained NASA New Investigation Award in 2008 and US Fulbright Facullty Award in 2012 . Vice chancellor of IIUC congratulated the visiting US specialist on Modern Water management for his brilliant achievement across the global universities with reputations in research works.
Teachers of Science faculty of the IIUC and large number of students participated the seminar, a IIUC sources said.
