Electronic items seized

Customs intelligence officials on Friday seized three covered van-load of electronic items, imported under false declaration, from Bandar area of Chittagong city.
The items include different kinds of LED lights and TV Cards.
One Delwar Enterprise of Dhaka imported the items from China evading duty of about Tk 1 crore, said Uttam Biswas, assistant commissioner of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate, Chittagong.On information, the products were seized while those were being taken to Dhaka from Chittagong port, he added.
