Govt urged more steps to curb secret killings
Members of Hindu- Bouddha- Christian- Oikya Parishad and Puja Udjapon Parishad in Chittagong formed human chain in front of Chittagong Press Club demanding to stop secret killings on Saturday.

Hindu Buddha- Christian- Oikya Parishad and Puja Udjapon Parishad in Chittagong formed human chain in front of Chittagong Press Club on Saturday demanding stopping of secret killings .
The speakers in the human chain urged upon govt to more cautious to alleminate the secret killings across the country. The leaders of the minority community in the human chan said a killing mission in the country now active to kill the innocent people including priests, purohits, teachers and the bloggers in recent period. The speakers called upon the govt to provide security to the common people and urged to increase the detective vigilance against the secret killings.
The human chain said sebok of Pabna Anukul Chandra Ashram Ranjan Pande, Jenniadah Siddeswari Mondir Priest Ananda Gopal , Christian grocer Sunil Gomes of Natore, and ASP’s wife Mahmuda were killed by the assailants recently.
General secretary of HBCP Adv Nitai Prasad Ghosh, President of Puja Udjapon Parishad and Bangladesh Hindu Foundation Shamal Kumar Palit, Advocate Chandan Biswas, Prof. Ranjit Kumar Dey, Principal Sudhir Bikash, Prof.Gyanbodhi Bikku, Advocate Ajit Narayan, advocate Subash Lala spoke on the occasion.
Among others Bibekandanda Cultural Parishad, Chhatra Jubo Oikya Parishad, ISKON , Tulsidam Ashram, Loknath Ashram, Pabartok Sanga, Sathsabga Ashram, Livestock Protection Association and Lawyers’ Oikya Parishad expressed solidarity to the human chain and participated in it.
A procession carrying placards brought out from the venue of humanchain which paraded the Anderkilla area, sources said.
