2 armed robbers arrested

Police arrested two robbers with arms from city’s Probortok area early on Thursday.
The arrested were identified as Hanif, 19, son of Mohammad Hasan, hailed from Jagatpur village under Daudkandi upazila of Comilla and Foyez, 20, son of Abdul Karim, hailed from Amirabad village under Lohagara upazila. On information, a team of Panchlaish police conducted a raid near a graveyard under the hill of Probotok Sangha around 1:30am and arrested them while they were preparing for committing robbery, said SI Anisur Rahman of Panchlaish police station.
