Nothing is good foreverThe auspicious month of March is here, in this month of 1971, Banga Bandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave a clarion call to the people to rise up against the unjust acts and asked them to resist it unitedly. Those who belonged to this land responded to his call and people from all walks of life, including those who were in defence services joined hands and made the country free in nine months.But it is a matter of great regret that Banga Bandhu’s followers have resorted to devious ways to come to power, by doing this they have done a great harm to the party, the Awami League. They have shifted from their earlier stance of a mid term election and it seems that Awami League wants to remain in power forever at any cost, but ‘Forever is a long long time.’Nur JahanChittagong
