Woman held with yaba

Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) in a drive detained a female drug trader with 500 pieces of yaba tablets from city’s Bakalia area in the early hours of yesterday.
The arrested was identified as Aysha Begum, 36, hailed from Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.
Police nabbed Aysha from a Dhaka-bound passengers bus in Shah Amanat Bridge area with the contraband drugs around 2.30 am, said Mohammad Abul Monsur, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bakalia thana.
