Maruf made member of OIC Int’l Islamic Fiqh Academy, Jeddah

The Government has nominated Dr. Abdullah Al-Maruf, member of OIC International Islamic Fiqh Academy, Jeddah as the permanent representative of Bangladesh and he accordingly joined the Academy.
He is the former Director of Islamic Foundation and a renowned religious scholar of the country. He is author of more than 50 books in different languages. He obtained his Kamil (Hadith & Fiqh) degree and attained higher studies in the University of Madinah, K.S.A, Al-Azhar University, Egypt and University of Dhaka.
He attended many meetings and seminars at home and abroad and visited many countries of America, Europe, Africa and Asia. He was one of 5 Amicus Curiae of Bangladesh Supreme Court in Fatwa Issue.
