Walton 7th National Taekwondo Competition concludes

The Walton 7th National Taekwondo Competition concluded at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council on Wednesday.
Rudro secured first position in the Under-30 kg weight category of Children Division while Druto became first in the Under-40 kg weight category of the same division and Md Issa obtained first position in the Under-45 kg weight category of the same division.
Saima finished first in the Under-45 kg weight category of the Women’s (Junior) Division while Lamia became first in the Under-50 kg weight category of the same division and Nyne secured first position in the Under-55 kg weight category of the same division.
Heeramoni secured first position in the Under-50 kg weight category of the Women’s (Senior) Division while Shuvro became first in the Under-60 kg weight category of the same division and Shantona finished first in the Under-75 kg weight category of the same division.
Billal became first in the Under-45 kg weight category of the Men’s (Junior) Division while Babul finished first in the Under-55 kg weight category of the same division and Rakib Uddin became first in the Under-75 kg weight category of the same division.
Zahidul secured first position in the Under-50 kg weight category of the Men’s (Senior) Division while Al-Amin obtained first position in the Under-55 kg weight category of the same division, Babul finished first in the Under-60 kg weight category of the same division, Kabir Uddin became first in the Under-70 kg weight category of the same division, Remo secured first position in the Under-80 kg weight category of the same division and Abu Sufian became first in the Under-90 kg weight category of the same division.
Dhaka emerged as the champions of the Team Event while Bashundhara Group became runners-up and Narayanganj finished third.
Chef de Mission of North Korea Embassy to Bangladesh Hun Son Ike distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest on the concluding day. First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn and Assistant Inspector General (Admin) of Bangladesh Police Rokhfar Sultana Khan were with him as special guests.
Secretary General of Bangladesh International Taekwondo Federation Md Solaiman Shikder presided over the prize-giving ceremony.
