Some unidentified miscreants launched attack on residence of one officer of Railway Eastern Zone , Chittagong at Segun Bagan area in city .
The incident of attack occurred at the residence of Deputy Chief commercial officer Md. Zakir Hossain on Tuesday night . Zakir Hossain is a member of recruitment committee of East zone railway.
Following the attack on residence of Zakir Hossain, the other members of the recruitment committee are in panics . In this connection, General Manager of Railway East Zone Mokbul Ahmed lodged as a GD before the Kulshi thana .
Following the attack on Zakir Hossain, members of the recruitment committee including committee Convenor hold meeting with the General Manager and informed about their security measures and handed over a memorandum to the GM, a railway sources said.
Convenor of the Recruitment Committee and Additional Chief Commercial Manager Rasheda Sultana admitted the fact of attacking recruitment committee member Zakir Hossain and submission of memorandum in respect of security of the committee members to General Manager on Wednesday evening.
