Gold worth Tk.4.50 cr seized at Ctg Airport

Chittagong Airport Customs officials have seized 82 pieces of gold bar weighing around 9.5 kilograms from a passenger at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport here on Wednesday evening.
The gold was found in two luggage of one passenger — Saiful Alam — who came from Oman by a Oman Air flight.
Airport and customs sources said the gold bars worth about Taka 4.50 crore were seized while the passenger was passing the green signal after completion of checking.
